Black Lives Matter
Protestors and witnesses walk along the newly renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza NW in front of the White House in Washington, D.C., Saturday, June 6, 2020.
“Black Lives Matter” is painted on the two-block stretch of 16th Street NW in giant yellow block letters.

As a member of the Maryland Mayor’s Association, Jeffrey has been elected to serve several terms on the Board of Directors of the Municipal League, and as a trustee of the Community Foundation for Montgomery County.

In 2011 he was named Montgomery County’s Philanthropist of the Year, an honor he holds with humbleness and great pride.

His broad range of community activities has allowed him to meet and connect with a broad range of like-minded civic organizers, residents and political activists. He can be seen at many community, political and government events around the area, engaging leaders and volunteers in conversations—-connecting people, ideas and building commitment that will make our community stronger and more equitable for all.

Jeffrey knows that connecting others creates bonds, community and benefits, everyone.
